The History of Food: The Rules of Life Dispels Gastronomy Myths

The History of Food project has started on Zen: The Rules of Life Editorial Director Sergey Minaev and magazine Editor-in-Chief Trifon Bebutov discussed the subtle connections between cuisine and the cultures of different historical periods.

The first episode of the show was devoted to 19th-century cuisine, that created the tradition of serving appetizers and starting the meal with soup. The guest experts included Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers head Igor Bukharov, as well as Yar restaurant chef Boris Pankrashin.
