Cosmo.ru and popmech.ru Named Socially Significant Media Outlets

Cosmo.ru and Popmech.ru – two of the most outstanding Independent Media projects and recognized leaders in their respective niches – have been included on the list of socially significant information resources. Both will soon offer free access to users. 

With the coronavirus continuing to spread, the authorities are searching for new ways to help citizens. One step in this direction has been the decision to provide access to almost 400 sites at no charge. 

The Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media has released a list of socially significant information resources that includes both Cosmo.ru and Popmech.ru. Subscribers of Rostelecom, ER-Telecom, MTS, MefaFon, and VimpelCom can access and use these platforms at no cost, and without it counting as part of their allotted Internet use. Moreover, access to the two sites is even available to subscribers with no money or even negative balances on their accounts.
