Joint Project between The Moscow Times and Dozhd TV

The Moscow Times newspaper and Dozhd TV present a unique joint project: "From the Pulpit."

Each week, prominent and interesting Russian social commentators share their opinions — sometimes provocative, sometimes biting — with The Moscow Times newspaper and Dozhd TV. Russia Today chief editor Margarita Simonyan discusses nationalism and the causes of xenophobia in Russia, writer Zakhar Prilepin is positive that “while we are working on ourselves, they are doing a job on us.” The new project “About Russia” explores what is happening in this country according to those who care.

The program — "Propovedi" in Russian — can be viewed daily on Dozhd TV and on the site www.tvrain.ru. The English version of "From the Pulpit" appears every Thursday in the Opinion section of The Moscow Times.
