Harper’s Bazaar Held New Year’s Ball
Harper’s Bazaar and the Mercury brand brought together Moscow high society for a Black & White Gala New Year’s ball. Fyodor Bondarchuk, Yana Rudkovskaya, Oxana Lavrentyeva, Alexander Tsypkin, Snezhana Georgieva, Paulina Andreeva, and others were on hand at the Metropol Hotel to bid adieu to 2018 and get ready to usher in 2019.
As the entrance, each guest received a fancy mask before stepping into a black & white area that the Lid’s Eventhouse decorators’ studio had styled after the balls for which writer Truman Capote was famous.
The gala dinner that actor Igor Vernik hosted served as a dress rehearsal for the main night of the year. Polina Gagarina, Anton Lavrentyev, and Dima Bilan performed their hits for the audience. After midnight, guests hit the dance floor prepared by Alexey “The Kisa” Kiselev. Efim Ginzburg provided a DJ set that kept the party hopping.
