Iconic Harper’s Bazaar Covers on Exhibit

Harper’s Bazaar magazine invites the public to an exhibition of its most iconic covers in honor of the publication’s 150th anniversary. The images will be on display March 6-31 on Gogolevsky Boulevard in Moscow.

Harper’s Bazaar, the world’s first fashion magazine, has brought together covers created by such renowned 19th- and 20th-century artists and designers as Erté, Leon Bakst, Cassandre, Jean Cocteau, and Alexey Brodovitch. Their works have become part of the history of not only the magazine, but also of the world of fine art.

The Moscow Department of Culture provided support in organizing the exhibition. Admission is free.
