Alexander Gukasov Leaves Sanoma Independent Media

Alexander Gukasov, commercial director and member of the board of directors of Sanoma Independent Media (SIM), has decided to leave the company in order to pursue his own projects.

Alexander Gukasov joined Independent Media 21 years ago, and it would be difficult to overestimate the contribution he has made to the company’s development since then. Gukasov played a key role in the commercial success of The Moscow Times, helped launch Vedomosti and then went on to achieve the dynamic growth of the newspaper as its managing director. He then served as SIM commercial director, taking the company’s commercial infrastructure to a new level.

The SIM management is sorry to see Alexander Gukasov leave the publishing house. “On behalf of the company, I would like to thank Alexander and wish him success in his future endeavors,” SIM CEO Jean-Emmanuel de Witt said.
