Cosmopolitan Shopping's Magical Night of Discounts

The fourth Cosmopolitan Shopping Discount Night, held on the night of Oct. 7-8 at the Yevropeisky mall, was truly magical.

With the event drawing a record 150,000 guests, the mall’s atrium resembled a Moscow metro station during rush hour. Visitors were treated to shows by a range of enchanting performers — mimes, magicians, living statues and jugglers. In addition to enjoying the show, guests enjoyed discounts of 30 percent or more at 300 stores throughout the mall.

A podium was constructed on the first floor of the Yevropeisky mall especially for Cosmopolitan Shopping’s Magical Night of Discounts and was used for a show by designer brands Estelle Adony, River Island and Adidas, and for a fashion show by Bosco Sport. MuzTV VJs Rita Chelmakova and Azia, along with renowned showman Andrei Razygrayev, emceed the Magical Night of Discounts.

This year’s celebrity consultants were Marika, Irena Ponaroshku, Tatyana Tereshina, Artyom Korolev, Dana Borisova, Polina Gagarina, Vanya Blackman and many others. Also on hand to entertain the discount hunters were music groups T-killah, 23:45, Vanya Blackman, Tatyana Tereshina and Yes!No!Maybe! Shoppers could watch the concert from all four floors of the mall.

The most active shoppers were treated to complimentary gifts and drawings with prizes that included tickets to the movie "From Prada to Nada" and the grand prize of the evening — an automobile. Buyers who made their purchases using the Molodyozhny card from Sberbank received stylish complimentary handbags and shirts. Those making the most purchases with the card were entered in a drawing for the grand prize. Although the value of the prize was not announced, the winner was very happy with it.
