Domashny Ochag: Egyptian Resort in Moscow
Domashny Ochag magazine will act as informational partner to the "Treasures of Ancient Egypt" International Sand Sculpture Festival. The magazine will present the Family Resort project as part of the event.
The "Treasures of Ancient Egypt" International Sand Sculpture Festival will be held from May 28 to 30 at the Pharmaceutical Garden section of the Botanical Gardens at Moscow State University. The main goal of the event is to acquaint Moscow residents and visitors with the art of creating sand sculptures. It also aims to give those who have never been to Egypt a chance to have contact with a world of historical values - and for those who have seen Egypt, the chance to plunge into an atmosphere of antiquity and beauty.
The permanent exposition will include sand sculptures of pyramids, pharaohs and fanciful labyrinths. An international championship of sand sculpture will be held at the end of June, and will include sculptors from 12 countries - Austria, Belarus, Germany, Holland, Iran, India, Portugal, Poland, Russia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. Kalistro Malino - the renowned sand sculptor from Mexico - is also expected to attend.
Domashny Ochag magazine will host an Egyptian family resort on the festival grounds - complete with swimming pool, sun chairs, palm trees, beach umbrellas, sand boxes and other resort accoutrements - where a mini-disco will be held for children on the weekends, and belly dancing classes for adults. The Domashny Ochag Family Resort will periodically conduct various exhibits, charitable projects and master classes. Show business stars, stylists, designers, architects and artists will participate in each project.
