Independent Media Wins Two Digital Communication Awards

The Technologies of the Future Award from Popular Mechanics and the Happiness Is… project that Cosmopolitan created for the Magnit retail chain were honored by the Digital Communication Awards at a ceremony on the evening of February 18.

The Technologies of the Future Award from Popular Mechanics won in the Digital Projects and Strategies/B2B Campaigns category. The project was submitted to the competition as a new tool for advertisers and an additional channel of monetization for the brand based on its expertise in science, technology, and innovation.

The Happiness Is… project that Cosmopolitan created for the Magnit retail chain won in the Digital Projects and Strategies/Most Innovative Content Solution category. Cosmopolitan brought the entire spectrum of its ecosystem into play to help its business partners achieve their image-related, communication, and conversion objectives.

The Russian Association of Communication Directors and Corporate Publishing (AKMR) and the Media Business publishing house have held the Digital Communications Awards since 2013. The award — whose winners are selected by an expert council — draws attention to the most significant achievements in the field of digital communications.
