Cosmopolitan Shopping Celebrated Anniversary with Friends and Partners

Cosmopolitan Shopping marked its 15th anniversary in the Vegas Kuntsevo shopping and entertainment center where it brought together its readers, fashion industry professionals, and celebrities.

Top stylists Gala Borzova, Gosha Kartsev, Olya Slovo, Lina Dembikova and Artyom Bakhtin took the stage to tell guests about shopping and basic wardrobe, where to find inspiration and how not to blend in with the crowd, as well as how to make fashion your profession.

In her lecture “Harmony in Beauty," media manager and special guest Tina Kandelaki noted the importance of the visual component of image in building a personal brand and pointed out that success comes from hard work, self-improvement, and the desire to develop.

Cosmopolitan Shopping Editor-in-Chief Tatiana Maximova hosted a public talk along with TV presenter Regina Todorenko and singer Vlad Topalov. The couple spoke on how to keep love strong and not quarrel when shopping. Another guest, designer Alyona Akhmadullina joined Tatiana Maximova in discussing how the fashion industry has changed over the past 15 years.

The festival also featured a round table discussion titled “Fashion of the future: what do the next 15 years hold for the fashion industry?" Tatiana Maximova and Cosmopolitan Shopping Creative Director Anastasia Korn served as moderators while stylists Gosha Kartsev, Lina Dembikova, and Katya Gershuni participated as panelists. Speaking about the future, Mr. Kartsev suggested that the profession of stylist would soon cease to be in demand because everything would be automated and technologically advanced and that a virtual assistant would perform the same functions. Ms. Dembikova and Ms. Gershuni disagreed, arguing that there would always be a place for creativity and that stylists would, at the very least, be responsible for creating fashionable content.

A photo zone with a virtual magazine cover reflected the theme of the future and technology. In honor of its 15th anniversary, Cosmopolitan Shopping released its first-ever Russian issue with augmented reality on the cover and featuring a virtual influencer — the model Asya Strike. Event guests could pose for photographs with a life-sized Asya.

DJ Timinoff provided the musical sets to keep the celebration rocking. Alekseev, Ellai, and Nyusha also performed for festival guests.

Famous Russian designers Alexander Terekhov, Alyona Akhmadullina, Artyom Krivda, Yulia Davidyan, Cocos Moscow, and Alexander Konasov developed Cosmopolitan Shopping merchandise especially for the festival — all of which was raffled off throughout the anniversary celebration. The event ended with a raffle for certificates to study at the various style schools at the festival, as well as for gifts from participating stores and a grand prize — a gift certificate good for 50,000 rubles of shopping at Vegas Kuntseva.
