Na Rublevke Newspaper Hosts Charity Event

The Na Rublevke newspaper joined Swissotel Krasnye Kholmy (Red Hills) in hosting the music-filled “Faith – Hope – Love” charity soiree. The gathering was the first in a series of musical events to support the foundation that helps seriously ill children.

Guests enjoyed the talents of baritone Oleg Alexandrov, the winner of multiple international competitions. Accompanied by a piano, Alexandrov sang songs and opera arias by Russian and foreign composers as well as classic Soviet songs. As they left, each guest received gifts from Rive Gauche and the LaPrincesseChoco chocolate parlor.

The funds collected at the event will be donated to the Lifeline foundation to provide treatment for Sasha Trofimov, a young boy who was born with a heart defect. Children’s Hospital No. 1 in St. Petersburg will perform the operation on Sasha.
