February National Geographic Russia for the iPad
In January, National Geographic Russia presented a special issue commemorating the 125th anniversary of the National Geographic Society and the first publication of National Geographic magazine. The article “Risking Life and Limb” told the story of daring and brave individuals who risked everything in dangerous adventures to save others, protect nature or advance science. The iPad version of the magazine in February includes video interviews with those heroes.
Articles about ancient Libya, the Wakhan Corridor and the otter — a beast of prey — also contain additional interactive materials: unique photos, maps and videos.
The iPad version is available in the AppStore as of February 1. By downloading National Geographic Russia in February, readers will receive complimentary photo wallpaper for the iPad. More details are available at .
