Fashion Show Video Reports on Cosmoshopping.ru

The Cosmoshopping.ru website provides detailed coverage of fashion weeks in Russia and the world, keeping its readers up to date on the latest from the world of fashion. In connection with the increased material on fashion weeks, the site launched a special “Fashion Weeks” section that enables users to watch coverage of the most recent shows and view reports from past seasons.

The format for presenting materials changed significantly as of last season. Responding to the needs of Internet users and trends in online media, the editorial team switched to video reports that include not only the fashion show itself but also backstage scenes as well as interviews with designers and celebrities.

This approach was first implemented for the Volvo Fashion Week, held in Moscow on October 26 to 31, 2011. The Cosmoshopping.ru team produced 12 video reports containing highlights from the catwalks and interviews with designers Stefano Ricci, Kira Plastinina, Dmitry Loginov, Ulyana Sergeyenko, model Georgia May Jagger, stylist Vlad Lisovets, Russian bloggers and other prominent figures.

The new approach continued with video reports from Milan Fashion Week. In addition to footage of the fashion shows, site users could view the sights of Milan, backstage scenes from the most anticipated shows and interviews with prominent Italian designers Veronica Etro, Brian Atwood, Ermanno Scervino, Philipp Plein, Paolo Gerani, model Daphne Groeneveld and popular Russian bloggers.
