New Issue of Real Estate Quarterly

March 1 marked the release of this year’s first issue of Real Estate Quarterly, a quarterly supplement to The Moscow Times newspaper dealing with real estate and construction.

The REQ1 issue examines recent innovations, including new approaches to the construction and management of commercial and residential buildings. Another innovation is the trend toward “green” construction. This issue looks at the first office center in Moscow specially designed to earn eco certification and at strategies for building “green” warehouses.

REQ1 also considers the eco-home project for building inexpensive and energy-efficient homes. An article on municipal reconstruction and planning examines new approaches to resolving some of Moscow’s problems, such as finding ways to adapt its numerous industrial zones to new uses.
