National Geographic Russia in Samsung Galaxy Tab

National Geographic Russia magazine took part in the Moscow presentation of the first tablet PC from Samsung – the Galaxy Tab (model GT-P1000) using the new Google Android 2.2 operating system.

National Geographic Russia fans are especially enthusiastic about one of the device’s useful functions: with the help of Readers Hub, it is now possible to read your favorite magazine on your tablet PC.

National Geographic Russia Editor-in-Chief Alexander Grek demonstrated the new capability during a presentation of the device. The magazine is the first periodical with a beta version to appear in the new tablet device from Samsung. At the premiere of the publication, event participants could evaluate the tablet PC for the convenience of its intuitive navigation menu that enables users to manage subscriptions to digital editions, buy books, read and make changes to their library.
