National Geographic Traveler Taught how to Tell Story in Photos
The latest seminar was held in the Notes along the Way project – a series of master classes for travel writers organized by the Cloudwatcher Club and National Geographic Traveler magazine. The series of lectures is designed for all travelers who dream of writing interesting and captivating material and of working with specialized publications.
Ivan Kurinnoy conducted this master class and spoke on the basics of photojournalism.
The professional photographer told seminar participants how to convey a story with photos. Participants listened with interest to Kurinnoy’s advice on how to select and actualize a good idea for a shoot, and how to ensure that any trip, in the end, becomes a photo essay that is interesting not only for the photographer’s close friends, but for a wide audience.
At the conclusion of the series, a brochure will be published titled “Notes along the Way” that will include the best theoretical and practical ideas from the course. Watch for announcements on the Websites
