“Music for all times” from Vedomosti newspaper
On January 30, the Vedomosti business newspaper will launch a new project - a collection of world masterpieces titled "Music for All Times."
The collection consists of a complete range of musical from the 17th century to the present - 20 volumes in all. It includes the best works of 80 great composers. Each volume contains two compact discs, a description of the lives and work of the composers, the musical culture of the featured epoch and a short musical dictionary. This is a limited-edition collection from Europe presented in decorative wrapping paper.
A new volume of the collection will be issued each week from January 30 to June 2009. They can be purchased together with Vedomosti at kiosks and magazine stores in Moscow, or by submitting a request on the website .
