Say Yes Charitable Campaign

Yes! has given special attention to charitable themes for a few years running. Every year, the magazine carries out various projects that have helped save children's lives.

From November 2008 through March 2009, the magazine is conducting a charitable campaign called "Say Yes" using the slogan "Buy a button - help children." The buttons are unique and creatively designed, cost only 50 rubles each and can be purchased at the following Moscow stores: Kira Plastinina, Respublika, Motivi and Build-a-Bear Workshop. Residents of Russia's regions, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and the Baltic states can also order the buttons by post.

All proceeds from button sales will be used to help children diagnosed with infantile cerebral paralysis or cancer. The organizers' plan calls for covering the cost not only of the patients' vital operations, but also the medicines that can cost up to thousands of dollars per package.

A number of famous people have responded to the campaign, with many stars expressing a great desire to take part in the project - thereby serving as an example to their fans. At present, more than 50 show business personalities are supporting the Say Yes project. They include Timati, Alexander Anatolievich, Vlad Topalov, Viktoria Daineko, Sergei Zverev, Anna Sedokova, DJ Smash vs. Fast Food, Nastya Zadorozhnaya, Irina Zabiyaka (of the group Chi-li), Ilya Durov, Anastasia Stotskaya, Ed Shulzhevsky, Vladimir Shirokov, actors from the Univer and Happy Together TV series, Ivan Nikolayev, Pyotr Federov, the BiS group, T9, Reflex and many others.

A video clip was specially filmed for the project featuring the group In-Yan, designer Kira Plastinina, actor Miroslava Karpovich (from the TV series Papa's Daughters), and Roman Gaidulyan (Univer), as well as the singers Dakota and Alexei Vorobyov. The video clip will air in December on MTV and TNT television stations, and an audio version will play on Love Radio and DFM radio stations. The advertising campaign will also include posters in participating universities, movie theaters and stores.

Campaign organizers hope the charitable Say Yes project will find a place in everyone's heart. Saying Yes! to good deeds is easy.
