The Moscow Times Celebrates The Independence Day
On 5 July, the American Trade Chamber in Russia organized the fifth celebration of Independence Day. This time the event took place at the open-air museum of Kuskovo. As usual, the Moscow Times was partner of the celebration. This unique English-language Russian newspaper is a well-known source of business, social and political information for the majority of the Chamber's employees.
232 years ago the Declaration of Independence was signed in Philadelphia. This document proclaimed the United Stated of America's independence from the British Empire. This US holiday is celebrated internationally.
The event in Kuskovo was full of entertainment and contests: clowns, trampolines, balloons of any kind, quizzes and surprises. And, of course, teams made up of the chamber's employees played traditional sports: volleyball, classical and American football. The culmination of the event was a gorgeous firework.
