Cosmopolitan at Moscow State University’s Career Day

The editorial staff of Cosmopolitan magazine took part in Career Day at the Journalism Department of Lomonosov Moscow State University.

A job fair open throughout the day provided novice journalists and future specialists a chance to learn the ins and outs of summer internships and job opportunities. At the Cosmopolitan stand, students spoke with the magazine’s editors, asked them questions, and learned the intricacies of working for the magazine and website.

Career Day also included lectures on issues related to journalism, including “How to build a successful career in the glossies industry” by Cosmopolitan editor-in-chief Polina Sokhranova. She also discussed how to achieve your goals and how to get a feel for your audience.

The Cosmopolitan stand and its meeting with students attracted the largest audience during the fair and generated the most interest among youth. Journalism department dean Elena Vartanova thanked the Cosmopolitan editorial staff for contributing to the event’s success.
