Social Advertising in Sanoma Independent Media Publications

Sanoma Independent Media (SIM) is continuing its support for the Socially Active Media program by placing free ads for selected nonprofit organizations in all of its publications.

An expert panel of judges picked the winners in the most recent Socially Active Media competition: Deti Nashi (Our Children), which provides support to orphaned children and the Dobroserdiye (Kind Heart) Foundation for children with cerebral palsy. The project “Cerebral Palsy is Not a Life Sentence: Every Child Deserves a Bright Future!” aims to overcome stereotypes and change public attitudes toward children with cerebral palsy.

SIM has supported the Socially Active Media program since late 2009, providing comprehensive media assistance to more than 20 nonprofit organizations and keeping readers of its publications up to date about the work of the charities.
