Cosmopolitan Reveals Secret of Success

The Russian edition of Cosmopolitan magazine turns 20 in 2014. On the eve of that anniversary, Editor-in-Chief Alya Badanina will describe how it all started, the genesis of the Cosmo Girls generation, which celebrities have appeared in the magazine and the secret of how the magazine has managed to maintain a leadership position over its 20 years on the market.

Almost everyone has heard of Cosmopolitan, and there are thousands of stories about how the magazine has influenced the lives of young Russian women. Some found the inspiration they needed to advance their careers, others found a life partner and still others were happy simply to find a great new hair style. One brave reader even beat a robber with a hefty issue of Cosmo …  Now that’s the power of the printed word in action!
