Social Advertising in Sanoma Independent Media Publications

The Sanoma Independent Media publishing house has been participating in the Socially Active Media program since 2010. The program aims to identify and support the best projects by non-profit organizations that promote socially significant initiatives, as well as to support existing and promising “social brands” by providing them with a media venue in which they can promote themselves.

New winning organizations were chosen in the most recent competition and their logos will be placed in Sanoma Independent Media publications at no cost.

The winners are:

The Sacred Heart charitable foundation. The organization seeks to raise awareness of children diagnosed with cerebral paralysis and to help them obtain treatment, adjust socially and achieve their personal potential.

The Big Change charity foundation. The project aims to draw public attention to problems that foster children and graduates of orphanages encounter in obtaining an education and integrating into society.

The Perspective Regional Society of Disabled Persons. The project uses advertising to improve public attitudes toward people with disabilities and works so that children with disabilities will be included in the regular education program in public schools, thereby aiding in their inclusion into society as a whole.

The Socially Active Media program is administered by CAF Russia.
