Cosmo: Brightest Event Of The Year

On June 19, Cosmopolitan editors were playing an unusual role: The number one Russian glossy magazine organized a lunch-and-conference event. The purpose - to announce Cosmo's intention of entering the Guiness Book of World Records.

In one month, Sochi's beach will become a testing ground for masculine resistance to the sight of bikini-clad young ladies, when more than 1000 girls create the Cosmo.ru logo with their bodies.

The same bikini boom happened in Australia in 2007, at Sidney's Bondy Beach. At that time 1010 girls (both Cosmo readers and professional models) set the world record.

Russian Cosmo is sure that it's a record that can be beat.

'This event is a kind of Cosmo lifestyle show. There are so many of us - active, happy and self-confident girls (regardless of extra pounds). We all know how to build up relationships, succeed in our career and have fun. This bikini boom will be driven by girl power and positive emotions. Besides, it will be Russia's first victory in Sochi, the home of the 2014 Olympics Summer Games!' says Elena Vasilieva, chief editor of Cosmopolitan Russia.

All the ladies who would like to take part in that event and get into the Guinness Book can register at Cosmo website. The bikini boom has already begun, and if you like sea, sun and beach then this project is for you.
