National Geographic Traveler Opens Photo Exhibit at Domodedovo Airport

National Geographic Traveler magazine has opened the Planeta Leto (Planet Summer) photo exhibition, held in cooperation with camera company Olympus. The exhibition, featuring the best works from the photo contest of the same name, is on display at Domodedovo Airport, Moscow.

The Planet Summer contest, which focuses on summer photography, was organized by National Geographic Traveler magazine in cooperation with Olympus this past summer. It accepted photos made during summer travels in Russia and abroad, without any restriction by category.

First Place went to Vladimir Kushnarev, Second Place was awarded to Fyodor Lashkov, and Third Place went to Vasily Yakovlev. Sergei Shanin won “Best Photograph Taken With an Olympus.”

The photo exhibition features 24 works. This first part of the exhibition is on display throughout October on the first floor of the airport, accessible to passengers on all domestic and foreign flights at Domodedovo. The second part will replace it in November.
