Changes to Cosmopolitan Shopping

Tatiana Maximova will now oversee the production of Cosmopolitan Shopping magazine. Prior to her appointment as chief editor, Ms. Maximova was editor-in-chief of Collezioni magazine, a publication for fashion industry professionals.

Ms. Maximova has more than 12 years experience working at glossy magazines. She began her career as an assistant in the Culture Department of Glamour magazine and rose to the position of editor within two years. She joined Collezioni in 2006 and worked for the magazine for nine successful years. Ms. Maximova also has work experience with the Richemont Luxury Group company of the IWC brand.

“I am very pleased with Tatiana’s appointment as editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan Shopping,” Cosmopolitan group publisher Maria Vinogradova said. “Tatiana has unique knowledge of the fashion market and all its segments, from the mass market to luxury. I am confident that Tatiana’s extensive experience, impeccable taste and enthusiasm will strengthen the position of Cosmopolitan Shopping and take the publication to a new stage of development,” Ms. Vinograda continued.

Commenting on her appointment, Ms. Maximova said, “It is a great honor for me to join the friendly Cosmopolitan family. Cosmopolitan Shopping magazine occupies a special place on the Russian market. It not only provides a complete picture of current fashion trends, but also offers ready-made solutions on how to apply them to your personal style. In my opinion, that format enables readers to shop with pleasure and to save significant shopping time. Of course, I feel a great responsibility, but I think my experience will enable me to make the magazine even more interesting, practical and useful.”

In addition to a new chief editor, Cosmopolitan Shopping also has a new look: a large-format release since its May issue. The magazine will also become a glossy from October.
