Independent Media held its Fifth Anniversary Digital Breakfast

On April 5, the Radisson Collection Hotel Moscow hosted Independent Media’s fifth annual Digital Breakfast. The event was organized for IM clients and business partners to talk about the results of the first year of the brand’s new incarnation, present the latest technological developments and large-scale content projects, and share strategic initiatives and plans for the near future.

The media holding’s CEO Natalia Vesnina opened the event. She emphasized that the decision made one year ago to localize the business and preserve the company’s media assets turned out to be the right one. This made it possible for IM to preserve not only its position in Russia’s glossy segment, but also its ability to produce professional life-style content based on the principles of innovative publishing. By preserving and improving a range of technical developments, Independent Media continues offering unique services to advertisers with the result that the holding’s total digital audience is now approaching 65 million users per month.

Independent Media Commercial Director Alla Khechumova and Digital Content Strategy Director Andrei Khodorchenkov shared news from the brand, described interesting new initiatives and presented projects that IM will launch in the near future.

Independent Media Director of Special Projects Ksenia Moiseeva presented six major advertising formats in which the media holding is currently working and that reflect the most modern industry trends. These are volumetric formats, large shopping, fake special projects, games in coverage, video shorts, and a synthesis of realities on the web. All are unique and progressive approaches on the Russian market.

More than 500 representatives of the largest advertisers and leading advertising and digital agencies attended the event. They include Auchan Retail Russia, Familia, Huawei, Mail Group, Mercury, Chery Automobile, AVITO, Gazprombank, MTS, National Projects of Russia and many others.

The Brusnika and Kalinov Rodnik confectionery and culinary companies were business partners to the event.
