The Independent Media Sanoma Magazines program “They Need Your Help” has turned five years old. Various corporate staff have helped many people during that time: senior citizens living alone received attention and care, ailing children received needed medical treatment, handicapped individuals were given rehabilitation and homeless animals received shelter and food.

The program has been in operation from May 2005 until the present, and during that time more than 600 employees of different companies donated more than 14 million rubles – a sum representing 25 percent of all monies those companies donated to charity during that time.
