Elena Razumova has been named general director of Mondadori IM, a part of the Independent Media Sanoma Magazines publishing house.

Elena Razumova graduated with a degree in translation from the Moscow State Linguistics University (formerly the Morisa Tereza Institute of Foreign Languages). Prior to joining the Independent Media publishing house, Razumova worked for Ernst & Young and headed the Executive Search Service.

Razumova began her career with the publishing house in 1997, working as the senior advertising manager for Cosmopolitan magazine. In 1998 she became the advertising director for Kult Lichnostei (Cult of Personality) magazine, and in 2000, the publisher of Harper's Bazaar - which she successfully ran for seven years. At the end of 2006, Razumova was appointed director of the dynamic and rapidly developing Custom Publishing department of Independent Media. She became the publisher for Grazia and Prime Traveller in 2008.
